The licence fees for the cFos Charging Manager as a software solution for Raspberry and Windows 10+ depend on the number of charging points required. Please note that three charging points are already included in the cFos Power Brain Wallbox. In addition, cFos Power Brain Wallboxes do not count as charging points and do not require charging point licences.

It is recommended to connect the cFos Charging Manager to the Internet and, if necessary, to provide access from the Internet to the cFos Charging Manager for maintenance purposes. You should plan for an appropriate internet connection and router.
The cFos Charging Manager can be operated with the devices in our list of compatible devices. If the desired charging station is not explicitly mentioned in OCPP, you must arrange a test appointment with us so that we can check the compatibility and make any necessary adjustments to the cFos Charging Manager.
Alternatively, you can use a cFos Charging Manager Kit Raspi or a PC with Windows 10+.
Alternatively, you can use a cFos Charging Manager Kit ESP or a PC with Windows 10+.
For Windows: If you operate Modbus RTU devices with the cFos Charging Manager, we recommend connecting a maximum of 20 devices per Modbus (two-wire bus). You need two 120 Ohm terminating resistors per Modbus. For a Windows PC or Raspberry PI, you also need a voltage-proof RS-485 adapter and a USB isolator to galvanically separate the Raspberry (or PC) from the bus. Our Charging Manager Kit does not require a Modbus kit, as it is already supplied with two RS-485 interfaces.
Note: If you operate the cFos Charging Manager with cFos Power Brain wallboxes, you do not need charging point licences. The charging point licences include lifetime free updates of the cFos Charging Manager. This gives you access to improvements, new functions and bug fixes. Our aim is to constantly adapt the cFos Charging Manager to the current requirements of the market, e.g. to enable interaction with as many devices from different manufacturers as possible.
