Charging with kWh budgets
You can assign kWh budgets to each user. The charging of the electric car then consumes the energy allocated on the budget in kWh and is stopped as soon as the budget is used up. In addition, you can also manage budgets on RFID cards. When an RFID card with a budget is inserted, the cFos Charging Manager switches to the budget of the RFID card. This is useful for company car parks or hotels. Here you can issue cards to customers or guests on which a certain amount of energy is stored.
Budgets can be one-time or automatically "recharge" (i.e. the used energy is reset to 0) daily, weekly, monthly or on a fixed day of the year. In addition, you can define RFID cards that can set the budget of the user or of another RFID card that is currently in use. The kWh stored on the card can be transferred or only copied. You can have the card deleted automatically afterwards. You can also create an RFID card that resets the used energy of a budget to 0. These additional functions allow people to change budgets without having to access the Charging Manager UI. For example, a caretaker can use a special card to reset a budget or add additional kWh to an existing budget.
Settings for budgets

Budget functions for RFID cards

| Delete consumption | Ticked: Delete the current consumption of the budget before setting or topping up. |
Application example
You run holiday homes and give your guests a daily quota for charging, e.g. 20 kWh or 120 minutes. To do this, you set up a user for each wallbox at a holiday home and an RFID card that charges itself daily.

If you also want to create a card with which the guest can top up their budget on an unscheduled basis, set up a second user to which only you have access (i.e. whose user ID remains secret) and an RFID card with a top-up function, in this case 15kWh:
You keep this card and place it on the wallbox when required. If you want to issue the card to the guest, you must ensure that the card can only be used once and is empty after charging.
